Why is the vinyl jacket so hard to strip off? UF-B cable is designed for direct burial and outdoor use, so the outer PVC jacket is intentionally thicker and tougher than indoor NM-B wire. This added protection improves resistance to moisture, abrasion, and soil pressure. Is the jacket thick enough to cover and protect the ground wire?

The jacket is 0.90 mm thick, fully covers the ground wire during installation. Our jacket thickness falls within industry standards and is optimized for durability and code-compliant underground installation. Is this cable suitable for direct burial without conduit? This is UF-B (Underground Feeder) cable, rated for direct burial and outdoor use without conduit. Can this wire be used outdoors in wet or damp locations?

The cable is designed to withstand moisture, sunlight exposure, and soil contact, making it ideal for outdoor lighting, pumps, sheds, garages, and yard installations.
