Southwire underground feeder cable can be used in applications such as general branch wiring, new wiring, and replacement wiring. Southwire's type UF is a thermoplastic non-metallic sheathed cable. Type TW conductor insulation color coded with thermoplastic overall jacket. UF Thermoplastic insulated 60° C wet or dry locations. UFB Thermoplastic insulated with conductors rated at 90° C. /2 = 2 insulated wires with bare ground. /3 = 3 insulated wires with bare ground. Coated in a sunlight resistant jacket that is flame retardant, moisture, rust, and corrosion resistant. Primarily used in direct burial applications, such as underground feeder to outdoor lighting in apparatus, exposed or concealed wiring in damp, moist, wet, dry, and corrosive locations.
